What changes the price
The distance from the gate or front door to the house, and how a cable can get there, can change the price as well as the unit. Ask each installer what they have allowed for. A wireless system may cost more to buy and less to put in.
Opening a door or gate from the intercom is a separate part of the job. Ask each installer to price it on its own line.
Before an installer comes to quote
Decide where you want each indoor screen, and stand at the gate or door to note what the camera would see from there.
If the house has an old intercom, say so. Its wiring may be reused, or it may not, and either answer changes the quote.
